This particular cake caused me a bit of stress because I originally ordered sugar crystals (clean rock candy) through Amazon, but the package kept getting delayed. So I had to drive around trying to find rock candy or any kind of clear rock sugar I could find. I ended up at a candy store in Grapevine Mills mall. They only had flavored rock candy sticks, but fortunately they had blue raspberry and orange. Luckily the flavors wouldn't clash much with the strawberry cake.
