Terms & Conditions
Deposit and Payments
A 50% non-refundable initial deposit reserves your event and is due once contract is signed. Deposits will count toward the client’s final total.
Final balance is due three (3) days prior to the cake due date. If payment has not been received by this deadline, Lady Caker reserves the right to terminate the agreement, and will thereafter have no further obligations to the undersigned (hereafter “client”).
Changes and Cancellations
Weddings:
We understand some details of the wedding may change over time, therefore changes to the cake flavors and serving size may be made until two (2) weeks prior to event date. Any changes requested after this deadline cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges. Final balance is due one (1) month prior to the wedding date. No refunds will be provided for order cancellations made two (2) weeks prior to event date.
Other custom cakes:
Changes to the cake flavors and serving size made be made up until five (5) days prior to the cake's due date. Any changes requested after this deadline cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

Rush Orders
​
All rush orders will be charged an additional $50. Rush orders include any order submitted 5 days or less before the cake date is considered a rush order. This includes cupcakes, cupcake cakes, bento cake boxes, sheet cakes, single-tier cakes, and cookie cakes. Multi-tier cakes are not eligible for rush orders. For rush orders, full payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Cancellations for rush orders will not be refunded.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing and ensuring an appropriate environment for the order. This includes but is not limited to: a stable and level place for the order to be set upon; a space where the order may sit undisturbed by people or events occurring at the event; and an optimal room temperature of seventy-five (75) degrees or below. If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Lady Caker’s possession.
Situations that may affect an order
We take our obligations to our clients very seriously and will do everything within our ability to ensure that all orders are provided accurately, timely, and per the client’s specifications. There may be circumstances that occur outside our control that may affect our ability to complete the order as agreed, such as, but not limited to, accidents, traffic, extreme weather, or acts of God. Please keep your contact information and alternate contacts up to date so that we may provide notifications and updates as quickly as possible. With good communication, we have a much better chance of working out a reasonable solution to the situation.
