This cake was an EC Comics themed cake. My only real instructions for the design of this cake were to make it "spectacular" and for the message of "Thank you Uncle Creepy Jim." Uncle Creepy is a comic book character, and the cake was for the host, a man named Jim.

In the research I did for this theme, I found that EC Comics was the company that put of "Tales from the Crypt" as well as a couple other horror series comics. So I ran with that idea, and used edible images of various covers. I made the EC skull logo out of fondant and painted the design/writing with edible markers.
